”You do not need to use your education brain on this one. Use your hakīrī cīa mūtūrīre- your natural, God given brain.” My grandmother would reprimand me when I was being naughty. Whether the natural brain meant wisdom, discernment or understanding, I totally understood what she meant.
Wisdom is the quality of having experience, knowledge and great judgement-it is the quality of being wise. It is the capacity of the mind that allows us to understand life from God’s perspective.
The epitome of wisdom is that great man Solomon. He was onto something. By asking God to grant him wisdom, knowledge and understanding, this man understood that everything else would fall into place. It did. He was right!
Solomon’s wisdom by default was a gateway to enormous wealthy, great leadership, excellent knowledge and understanding. I wonder why he shut out and threw Mr. Wisdom under the bus though when it came to the husband docket but I digress.
Now, the wisdom and works of King Solomon, his thousands of songs and proverbs, and all that he did, are they not written in the Holy Bible?
Wisdom always combines general knowledge of the facts with discernment, or insight of the situation and the resolve to act on that knowledge and that intuition- without laziness or fear.
